Recently, the first arch module for the **Hainan LNG Terminal Phase II project of the Pipeline Network Group, which was jointly constructed through EPC by CNPC Sixth Construction Company, was successfully lifted and placed in position. This marks the transition of the main construction phase related to the storage tanks from the preparatory stage to the module-lifting stage, creating favorable conditions for subsequent tasks such as tank interior installation and arch prefabrication. The first vault block module weighs about 21.34 tons and is prefabricated in a modular manner; due to its shape resembling watermelon rind, it is referred to as \"watermelon rind\" by the engineers. Before the lifting operation, the project department conducted safety and technical quality briefings for the on-site workers and those responsible for lifting, and carried out a joint safety and quality inspection to thoroughly identify potential risks. The lifting of the vault block module was carried out using a 320-ton crawler crane; the entire lifting and positioning process took 40 minutes. The vault block module was lifted from the prefabrication site on the south side of Tank No. 3 LNG tank and safely and smoothly transported to the designated location between Tanks No. 4 and No. 5 LNG tanks. **At the Phase II project of Hainan LNG Receiving Station owned by the Pipeline Network Group, three LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 220,000 cubic meters each are currently under construction. The roof of each LNG storage tank is composed of 24 roof panel modules, which are subsequently assembled as a whole inside the tank. The P1 module of the arch roof that is being lifted this time is the first arch roof module for the No. 3 LNG storage tank, and it is also the first module to be lifted at the entire site.
