In a water bath or air bath, normal design principles prevent excessive vibration; however, when the flow velocity in the tube side is too high, rapid bends in the heat exchange tubes can cause vibration. Make sure to check the process conditions required for the device you are using; operating it under conditions that exceed these requirements will certainly lead to abnormal operation.
