Does the LNG control system require a SIS?

With a daily processing capacity of 150,000 liters of LNG, and considering it to be a major hazard source of level 3, is it necessary to equip the DCS control system with an SIS system?
With such a high processing volume, a SIS system should be installed to ensure safety. Check if there are any relevant regulatory requirements?
Currently, there are differing standards regarding SIS system requirements in the country; it is recommended to adopt SIS.
Order No. 40 of the former State Administration of Work Safety also stipulates that the management of major hazard sources involving hazardous chemicals in urban gas supply is not covered by the requirements of this order
This post was last edited by leiyinnit on 2019-2-14 at 11:05. Regarding town gas LNG, **by regulations it is not required to have a SIS system; however, having one would definitely be better. If it is LNG from a chemical plant, it must be installed in accordance with the **document requirements.
