Guys, I’m in urgent need of information on the MDEA method for natural gas decarbonization and its mixing ratios. Is there anyone else who uses this method?

The concentration of MDEA (methyl diethanolamine) used for natural gas decarbonization is generally adjusted according to specific operating conditions, with concentrations typically ranging from 20% to 50%, with around 30% being the most common value. If the carbon dioxide level is high or the pressure is low, the concentration can be increased appropriately ; If the processing volume is small or a high level of purification is required, the concentration can be slightly reduced. In practical applications, it is recommended to conduct pilot tests first, and make fine adjustments based on the air intake conditions and purification requirements. Be careful to control the temperature (40–60°C) and the liquid-to-gas ratio to avoid foaming and degradation. Feel free to communicate more if you have any questions! .
Typically, the formulations of MDEA solutions are kept as trade secrets; to obtain such formulations, one either has to develop them themselves or purchase ready-made solutions. The solution from Chengdu Saipuixing is the one that performs well
