I would like to ask experts about the feasibility of using raw gas with a CH4 content of 5–8%, a CO content of 18%, an H content of 20%, and a CO2 content of 13% for hydrogen production along with LNG generation. Please provide your guidance!

The route is clear and simple, as well as quite well-established! It’s just that the economic viability needs to be calculated! But no matter what product is produced, whether the components of the raw gas are stable, whether its flow rate is stable, and whether dust removal meets the required standards – these are problematic issues in the use of raw gas.
The hydrogen content is 20%, while the methane content ranges from 5 to 8%. There are two processing routes: one involves separating out hydrogen, with the remaining gas being used as fuel gas; the other route involves methanation first, if hydrogen cannot be effectively removed – this process converts hydrogen and CO into methane, thereby increasing the methane content. After that, low-temperature distillation is carried out, with LNG produced at the bottom of the tower and the CO gas at the top being used as fuel gas.
Hydrogen is needed, and there is a hydrogenation unit.
