Recently, Changsha Water Pump Factory Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the sea water pumps required for the second phase of the Jiangsu Guoxin Rudong Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal project, with the bid amount exceeding 10 million yuan. This win represents an important breakthrough for Changpum in the field of large-scale LNG receiving stations. The second phase of the construction of the Jiangsu Guoxin Rudong LNG Receiving Terminal involves the construction of one 200,000 m³ LNG storage tank and associated process equipment, as well as a wharf and trestle required for LNG ship loading and unloading. This wharf is capable of handling LNG carriers with capacities ranging from 80,000 to 266,000 cubic meters; it also serves as a transshipment facility. The LNG storage tank is a 200,000-cubic-meter LNG tank (Tank No. 4), which has the capability for external transportation and loading onto ships; it is equipped with corresponding facilities such as external transportation pumps, loading pumps, compressors, high-pressure pumps, vaporizers, and loading skids. Upon completion of this project, the receiving station will have a total tank capacity of 80×104 m³, an emergency storage capacity of 4000×104 m³/day, and a maximum gasification and transmission capacity of 6000×104 m³/day.
