The Shilipu LNG refueling station in Yidu, Hubei has been put into operation

On November 30, Sinopec’s Yichang branch in Hubei launched its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) refueling station – the Shilipu LNG Refueling Station in Yidu. As the first LNG refueling station built by Sinopec in the Yichang area, this station provides one-stop energy supply services for heavy trucks and freight vehicles traveling along the Hubei-North Expressway, Yue-Yi Expressway, and Provincial Road S254, thereby ensuring an energy supply for these heavy vehicles. 　　The Yidu Shilipu LNG refueling station is located in Group 7, Shilipu Village, Lucheng Sub-district, Yidu City, Yichang, covering an area of 4,425 square meters. The station is equipped with one 2-nozzle fueling machine and a horizontal gas storage tank with a capacity of 60 cubic meters, allowing two vehicles to be fueled simultaneously. Since its trial operation, this station has seen daily LNG sales amounts reaching up to 15 tons on average; it now has over 200 customers and has become an important energy supply station for Provincial Road S254.
