I’m using a paramagnetic oxygen analyzer; it suffers from significant issues with zero point and range errors. Even after calibration today, the errors remain large tomorrow. The instrument used is the Sifumei 5410A, with an oxygen measurement range of 98–100
The paramagnetic oxygen analysis method is affected by multiple factors depending on the design structure of the analyzer. 1. Is the instrument installed horizontally with no mechanical vibrations? 2. Is the sample gas flow constant? 3. Are there any interfering components in the sample, especially nitrogen oxides? 4. Is the calibration process reliable? 5. Are there significant changes in environmental and sample temperatures?
