What are the standard contents of carbon, phosphorus, and sulfur in carbon steel 70C? I’ve searched many standard materials but couldn’t find the information.
In 70C carbon steel, the C refers to the carbon content of this steel being between 0.65 and 0.75%; the silicon content is generally no higher than 0.35%, the phosphorus content is no higher than 0.03%, and the manganese content ranges from 0.6 to 0.9%. If it is S70C, it indicates that the sulfur content is no more than 0.035%, and this type of steel has good elasticity.
