Regarding the selection of Agilent 6820TCD chromatography columns

The company has been using the Agilent 6820 for gas analysis, to measure the levels of O2, N2, CO, CH4, and CO2, with H2 being used as the carrier gas. I need to replace the chromatography column recently. The one I was using before was a domestically produced 2m*1/8 TDX-01 carbon molecular sieve packed column. Could you recommend a type of chromatography column that others use? It would be great if you could provide the model number as well. O(∩_∩)O Thank you!

Weren’t you already using domestic columns as substitutes? If the analysis results are reliable, you can just continue to use those domestic columns of the same model. Using other columns, unless they are the existing models from Anjia, will definitely yield good results. If it is some other unknown brand, I’m afraid you’ll need to conduct column condition tests and adjustments again before you can start analyzing new samples.
