Analyze the reasons for the large data gap

The laboratory used two gas chromatographs of the same manufacturer with identical configurations to analyze the same sample of crude gas, and the nitrogen content values obtained were very different. Unable to find a better solution, they resorted to a simple method: using an O₂ analyzer for measurement. The results obtained with this analyzer matched those of one of the chromatographs. So why did the other chromatograph give such significantly different results? I was wondering what’s wrong with the instrument in this regard?
