It is prohibited to store in the workplace materials that pose a risk of obstruction, tripping, or slipping ； 11 Laboratory waste should not be accumulated to prevent increased risks ； Chemical waste should be collected promptly and removed from the work area, and stored in a designated temporary storage area for chemical waste as required ； 12 Broken glassware can be stored in prepared and labeled containers; laboratories with the necessary facilities can use specialized packaging containers (such as sharp object boxes) for storing broken glass items.
