I agree with the view from the third floor: companies need to extend their industrial chains in order to have better prospects for development. Single products are hardly able to withstand market fluctuations these days. Personally, one must continuously improve their technical skills, combining expertise in a specific area with knowledge in various fields, in order to have greater opportunities for growth

Personally, I think the fine chemicals route has better prospects. As public awareness of environmental protection grows, the requirements for refined petroleum products (such as gasoline octane rating) will continue to increase, making alkylation and isomerization necessary, and giving greater importance to the fine chemical industry!

Since 2010 or even earlier, many domestic enterprises have been exploring coal chemical processing, particularly the pilot production of facilities for converting coal into gas and oil. Despite numerous difficulties, these pilot productions have piqued the interest of even more companies! To date, the coal chemical industry has experienced rapid growth, and it is likely to continue to expand in the coming years. This poses a significant challenge to the traditional oil refining industry. As a professional in the petrochemical sector, one either gets overwhelmed by the trivialities of traditional industries or strives to expand into new fields; there are too many variables in terms of future development. Only after understanding the difficulties of living does one appreciate the care and efforts others have shown towards us in the past. Sadly, people often understand these things only after experiencing them themselves; even if you try to advise others with kindness, they may not pay attention. We are taking paths that no one before us has taken, and trying to advise future generations after having gone through those paths might backfire. Each industry has its own characteristics, and those who know how to apply those characteristics flexibly will be the ultimate winners! An individual’s development is inseparable from the development of the industry, and the progress of that industry is the result that each of us must contribute to! Understand the development trends of one’s industry, address the challenges that arise as the industry evolves in advance, and make a choice for oneself and one’s family.
