With the commissioning of polyethylene projects at the seven major refining and chemical bases, what is the future outlook for the polyethylene industry? Could excess production capacity lead to poor company performance and thus lower employee salaries?
It really isn’t up to you or me to decide this; I guess there will be macro-control – there’s already such a limited amount of raw materials, and yet people still insist on building all those so-called bases...
It’s just like in the 1990s when there was a nationwide boom in refrigerator and washing machine factories; we’ll have to wait and see how things develop.
There is still demand in the market, but the issue of homogenization should be given more consideration
Herd behavior is our specialty; I don’t know how to implement macro-control – has the market economy stopped being regulated?
