Feasibility and effects of using heavy aromatics (C10/11) in modified asphalt?
The heavy aromatics we have aromatized were directly put into the diesel tank.
It’s a waste to use heavy aromatics to adjust the asphalt; our company uses diesel for that purpose. The value for heavy aromatics at 95% is around 285.
Yes, the best option is to adjust the diesel (but colority needs to be taken into account). Secondly, as a heavy aromatic product for sale externally, we mainly have an excess of diesel (the quality of this diesel meets the National V standard), and there is no market for it. So as a fallback, I was wondering if anyone has adjusted the asphalt?
