What is the purity of isobutylene used in the production of MMA via the isobutylene method? Do you need high-purity isobutylene?
The liquefied gas product from catalytic cracking will do. The MTBE process can be used to purify isobutylene itself, and this process does not have strict requirements regarding the concentration of isobutylene.
