Hello everyone, does your factory have any regulations regarding safety valves that are not subject to mandatory inspection? They are those safety valves that are not related to special equipment, other than pressure pipelines, pressure vessels, and boilers. Such as the safety valve in the compressor oil circuit system, etc. . . How do you manage it? Should it still be verified regularly, once a year? What if you can’t do it?
It must undergo mandatory inspection; who can sign an application for an extended inspection period for you?
For cases where an extended testing period is permitted, it’s best to consult the local market supervision authority; we have handled such cases before, but relevant proof is required
A responsible **department** will entrust an agency to identify risks and implement hierarchical risk management. Only some of the medium- and low-risk cases are postponed; those with high risk need to be halted for verification. This is the RBI philosophy. But what can’t be written in accordance with the standards is just trivial stuff. . .
I’m not sure if your company has the qualifications to calibrate safety valves. Our company has over 400 safety valves, so we have our own calibration station; we are able to calibrate safety valves operating at pressures up to 220 MPa. In accordance with the \"Regulations on Safety Technical Inspection of Safety Valves,\" safety valves that meet the requirements can have their calibration dates extended under certain conditions, for a maximum period of 3 years. If our safety valves do not have root valves in place during operation, we apply for an extension of the calibration deadline, and our management always approves such requests.
Normal safety valves require annual inspection; the compressor oil circuit system is related to the safety of the compressor, and therefore safety valves in this context should be subject to mandatory inspection
