May I ask in which process units are electric valves primarily used in the petrochemical industry (excluding tank areas and oil pipelines, where electric valves are commonly used; what is needed is to know their application points within the process units)? What type of valve structures are used alongside them? Thank you.
Flat gate valves without guide holes are suitable for petrochemical tank areas, as they require less torque and have lower electric operation costs. If it is necessary to clean the oil pipelines, flat gate valves with reverse flow holes should be used; these valves offer good sealing performance, require less torque, and are shorter in length compared to ordinary gate valves
