During production, some C9 and C12 heavy hydrocarbons are generated; we remove them intermittently and then wash the mixture before discharging it. Where do these heavy hydrocarbons end up? How to handle it? Or is there a better use for it? The price of heavy hydrocarbons is very low now
Using cracked C9 as the feedstock and a Ni-Cu series catalyst, a single-stage fixed-bed hydrogenation process was employed; under conditions of a reaction pressure of 5.0 MPa, a temperature of 150 °C, and a space velocity of 0.75 h⁻¹, the conversion rate of the unsaturated components reached over 90%. (2) Under single-hydrogenation optimization conditions, using the products of the single hydrogenation as feedstock for a second hydrogenation reaction, the conversion rates of styrene, **ethylene, dicyclopentadiene, and indene can reach around 98%
