Sinopec achieves industrial mass production of PBST fully biodegradable foaming materials

Recently, a research and development team established by Hainan Refining and Chemical, a subsidiary of Sinopec, together with Beihua Research Institute and downstream customers, successfully realized the industrial mass production of PBST fully biodegradable foaming materials, filling the gap in the field of degradable foaming materials with my country's independent intellectual property rights. Relying on the excellent properties of PBST raw materials, the R&D team successfully realized the industrial mass production of PBST fully biodegradable foaming materials by optimizing the modified formula and physical foaming process. This product has a foaming ratio of 28 times, and its closed cell ratio, tensile strength and other properties are superior to traditional products. It has outstanding advantages such as uniform cells, low shrinkage rate, and high structural strength. It can be widely used in green logistics industrial packaging, construction engineering supporting equipment, household daily products and other scenarios.
