The pyrolyzed C5 produced by our company has the following issues; experts are requested to help resolve them. 1. The sample taken online is a colorless and transparent liquid, but it gradually turns yellow after entering the tank, without any additives being added during this process； 2. After the yellow-colored material is removed (samples taken from transparent plastic bottles), it is placed outdoors; under exposure to light, it gradually turns back into a colorless, transparent liquid.
Has the reason been found? We have also encountered the problem of yellowing in appearance.
It is speculated that they aggregate to form carbon-carbon double bonds; those with more than ten such bonds turn yellow, and then they degrade under the influence of heat and light
