On March 29, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the \"Guidelines for the Development of Intelligent Manufacturing Standards in the Petrochemical Industry (2022 Edition)\\" (draft for comments), seeking input from all sectors of society. The draft proposal suggests that by 2025, a relatively comprehensive set of intelligent manufacturing standards for the petrochemical industry should be established, with over 30 key standards in this sector being revised or formulated, covering standards related to basic common elements, key data and modeling technologies in the petrochemical industry, as well as key application technologies ； For petrochemical sub-sectors such as crude oil processing, priority should be given to formulating standards for the application of next-generation information technologies in specific areas such as production, management, and services, in order to promote the widespread use of intelligent manufacturing standards in the petrochemical industry. The draft for comments proposes to coordinate the development and implementation of intelligent manufacturing standards in the petrochemical industry, and to make steady progress in building a system of such standards within this sector. Fully leverage the think tank role of professional institutions and industry experts; strengthen research on major issues related to the standardization of intelligent manufacturing in the petrochemical industry; and clarify the strategic priorities, development focuses, and key policies regarding the standardization of intelligent manufacturing in this sector. In addition, in line with the different stages of intelligent manufacturing development in the petrochemical industry, the \"Guidelines for the Construction of Intelligent Manufacturing Standard Systems in the Petrochemical Industry\" are regularly revised to ensure that the standard system keeps pace with the digital transformation of this industry.
