Recently, Liu Youbin, spokesperson for the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, said that the implementation of the National VI emission standards for heavy-duty diesel vehicles on July 1 this year marks the full transition of China’s vehicle standards to the National VI era. This means that as of July 1, the production and sale of heavy-duty diesel vehicles that do not meet National VI emission standards are prohibited; imported heavy-duty diesel vehicles must also comply with National VI emission standards
