With a total investment of 2.8 billion yuan, two new projects by Fujian Petrochemical Group Company have been established in the Gulei Petrochemical Park! At the Fujian International Investment Promotion Conference held on July 14, in the presence of provincial leaders, Fujian Petrochemical Group signed agreements on site for two joint venture projects with Fortune 500 companies – German company Linde Gas and Dutch company Royal Flobecq. These two projects will provide supporting services for other chemical projects in the Gulei Petrochemical Park, further enhancing the park’s international operational standards. Linde is the world’s largest industrial gases and engineering company, listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In 2020, Linde’s sales amounted to nearly $30 billion, and its market value exceeded $150 billion; it was listed among the Fortune Global 500 companies and also ranked among the top 10 chemical companies in the world. Royal Vopak of the Netherlands is the world’s largest specialized operator of port storage tanks. It focuses on investing in and managing petrochemical terminals, storage tanks, as well as land and sea transportation services. It operates 70 terminal complexes in 23 countries and regions around the world, with a total storage capacity of over 35 million cubic meters.
