On July 30, the inauguration ceremony for the commissioning of Quanzhou Xinliji Petrochemical Asphalt Base was officially held. Chen Zhiping and Chen Lezhang, leaders of Fujian Port Group, Xiao Hanhui, the deputy mayor of Quanzhou City, as well as relevant officials from Quangang District, the management committee of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, United Petrochemical, and the investment company (Xiamen Xinliji) attended the trial production ceremony. The total investment in this project is approximately 129 million yuan, with a designed storage capacity of 26,000 tons. It features a modified asphalt production line owned by independent intellectual property rights, and can provide comprehensive asphalt supply chain services covering procurement, storage, processing, distribution, and technical support. Once operational, it will be able to produce 2,000 tons of modified and emulsified asphalt per day, which exceeds the combined production capacity of the other two storage facilities in Xiamen’s Xinliji area. This will **improve the speed of asphalt delivery and enhance the market competitiveness of asphalt products. It is worth noting that this project takes advantage of the trend associated with \"new infrastructure\" to accelerate its intelligent transformation. Efforts are being made to develop asphalt products with environmental benefits, such as high-viscosity modified asphalt for sponge city drainage surfaces, high-elasticity modified asphalt for steel bridge decks, and water-based emulsified asphalt coatings for waterproofing purposes. These products are designed to meet the requirements of future road construction and maintenance, which involve processes that are simple to implement, easy to maintain, cost-effective, and energy-efficient. Over the years, Xiamen Xinliji, as a leading enterprise in the asphalt industry in Fujian Province, has not only established branches outside Fujian but also set up asphalt processing and storage facilities in various locations such as Fujian, Jiangxi, and Xinjiang. It possesses nearly 140,000 cubic meters of specialized asphalt storage tanks, and its asphalt supply services cover more than a dozen provinces including Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Sichuan, and Xinjiang. It provides supply services for various asphalt products such as heavy traffic asphalt, modified asphalt, emulsified asphalt, and colored asphalt for infrastructure construction projects including highways, national and provincial roads, municipal roads, bridges, and airports in the region. Over the past five years, more than 2.8 million tons of various asphalt products have been supplied in total. In the future, Quanzhou Xinliji Petrochemical Asphalt Base will make full use of the overall resource advantages of Fujian Port Group, effectively leverage the water transport facilities at Quangang Bafang Wharf as well as its own geographical advantages, actively participate in the \"Double Hundred Action\" for state-owned enterprise reform, and strive to become a competitive, upgraded service provider for the entire asphalt industry chain.
