Cao Suhua, a second-level inspector from the China Energy, Chemistry and Geology Trade Union; An Li, deputy head of the Industrial (Defense) Trade Union of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions; Li Donghua, deputy secretary of the company’s Party committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and head of the trade union; Wang Geng, director of the Fangshan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and other leaders; as well as the heads of the company’s Party committee organization department, Party-mass work department, and various secondary units, along with the leaders of the company-level innovation studios, attended the event. Cao Suhua extended congratulations to all members of the “Liu Jinsong Skills Master Studio”. Cao Suhua called for further strengthening the functions of innovation studios, as well as their standardization, innovation capabilities, platforms for transforming innovative achievements, and service support systems. It is necessary to unite and motivate employees to actively participate in mass-based innovation activities, so as to rapidly create an environment where everyone dares to innovate, knows how to innovate, and is good at innovating. It is necessary to explore the establishment of innovation studio alliances that span different regions, industries, and enterprises, in order to expand exchanges and cooperation and promote mutual learning. It is necessary to promote the application and dissemination of innovative achievements, establish bases for the incubation and transformation of employees’ innovative results, and facilitate the incubation of innovative projects and the conversion of their outcomes. Li Donghua described the progress in establishing employee innovation studios within the company by focusing on three aspects: emphasizing political guidance and strengthening top-level planning to ensure that the establishment of these studios is carried out to high standards; focusing on key aspects and enhancing system construction to guarantee smooth operation of these studios at a high standard; and focusing on serving as a hub for innovation, strengthening the conversion of achievements, and demonstrating the role of state-owned enterprises as pillars of society. Li Donghua said that the Yanshan Petrochemical Innovation Studio focuses on carrying out technical research in areas such as the safe operation of the enterprise, cost reduction, and green emission control. It provides solutions to key technical challenges, playing a positive role in accelerating the high-quality development of the enterprise and ensuring the safe and stable operation of its production facilities. In the future, the company will continue to make efforts in unleashing innovative momentum, advancing the transformation of innovations, and creating a favorable environment, so as to help the employee innovation studios achieve even greater results. Wang Geng demanded that the leaders of these innovation studios should be guardians, practitioners, and innovators of the craftsmanship spirit. They should continue to play a role in mentoring others, encouraging more young talents to engage in technical and skill-related innovation, so as to make new contributions to the development of Fangshan’s goal of becoming a \"one district, one city\" area. It is reported that in March this year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance released the list of skill master studios for the 2020 cohort, and the “Liu Jinsong Skill Master Studio” at Yanshan Petrochemical Refinery was successfully included on that list. Liu Jinsong’s studio was established in May 2017, and it has sound working systems, management procedures, an organizational structure, independent and fixed premises for carrying out activities, as well as necessary office equipment. It currently has 21 members, who are experts and key technical personnel in hydrogen-related facilities. Among them, there is 1 skill master from Sinopec Group, 1 professor-level senior engineer, 9 engineers, 4 assistant engineers, 4 senior technicians, and 3 technicians. Liu Jinsong’s studio focuses closely on the company’s development strategy, carrying out activities such as technical research, management innovation, and project studies. It promotes advanced innovative concepts, technologies, and methods, thereby generating economic benefits of over 32 million yuan for the enterprise. Through measures such as direct supply of raw materials, ensuring long-term operation of energy-saving equipment, proper control of the hydrogen-to-oil ratio, and daily tracking of energy consumption, the overall energy consumption of the four hydrogenation units was reduced by 2.47 kilograms of standard oil per ton, resulting in cost savings of 27.4 million yuan in fuel and power expenses ； Guided five hydrogenation units to complete 11 shutdowns and startups safely and on schedule, resolved unexpected failures such as vacuum conditions in bottom pump and leaks in reactor flanges, and eliminated major safety hazards resulting from incomplete airtightness in the processes. During the startup of the jet fuel hydrogenation unit, measures such as using qualified jet fuel for system replacement, allowing time for settling and dehydration, and optimizing the operation of the stripping tower were implemented, enabling the production of qualified products on the same day as startup; this reduced the time required for products to meet quality standards by approximately 48 hours. While generating economic benefits, these measures also significantly improved the material balance for jet fuel products. In terms of summarization and improvement, 28 PPTs and video materials for training operators of hydrogenation and hydrogen production facilities were prepared and recorded. The book \"Learning Operations from Cases\" was written, in which 118 typical cases across five categories, including start-up and shutdown processes as well as direct operation tasks, were analyzed and summarized to provide materials for employee skill training. In 2019, it was recognized as a Beijing Workers’ Innovation Studio as well as an innovation studio for workers in the national petroleum and petrochemical industry. It received the title of Yanshan Petrochemical’s top 10 most responsible teams, as well as the honor of being named an outstanding expert team for the first series of maintenance work at the refinery in 2020.
