The constant torque tightening technique involves calculating the bolt torque value under a cold pre-tightening condition, and then using hydraulic torque wrenches or hydraulic tensioning fittings to tighten the flanges in a uniform and precise manner. Compared with traditional manual tightening, it offers advantages such as improved reliability of static sealing, elimination of the need for thermal tightening processes, and better protection for workers. This approach can **reduce the risk of leaks in refining and chemical processing units, eliminate VOC emissions from flanges, and lay the foundation for long-term operation of these units. Furthermore, Guangdong Petrochemical carries out insulation work immediately after completing the pressure testing of all valves and flanges, which significantly reduces the construction time and will provide technical support for the timely commissioning of the entire project.
