On March 30, after three months of construction, the Jingmen Petrochemical used oil sludge recycling project was successfully completed, adding further impetus to the company’s green development. Once this project is put into operation, the sludge, mud, and scum generated during production and storage in enterprises can be subjected to high-temperature desorption treatment before being sorted for reuse. The non-condensable gases are recovered and fed into the low-pressure gas system as fuel for the equipment, while the distillate oils are sent to the intermediate tank area to be used as raw materials in catalytic units for reprocessing. The wastewater is directed into the oily wastewater treatment system, thereby completely resolving the issue of these various types of sludge and achieving a win-win situation in terms of resource recovery and environmental protection. During the construction process, the Equipment Engineering Department strictly implemented various epidemic control measures and safety protocols, optimized the construction plan, arranged the different construction tasks in an orderly manner, improved the efficiency of project construction, and made every effort to advance the construction progress. During the stage of three inspections and four determinations, the Fourth Refining Department overcame various difficulties by assigning dedicated personnel from existing production forces to carry out the necessary corrections. Technical managers were tasked with preparing documents such as process technical specifications, operating procedures, and initial startup plans. The employees were also organized to work overtime for training, in order to prepare for the subsequent startup.
