On the evening of April 11, Longhua New Materials issued a announcement stating that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shandong Longhua Polymer Materials Co., Ltd., has recently received project approval from the Gaoqing County Administrative Approval Service Bureau. Shandong Longhua Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. plans to build a PA66 production facility with an annual capacity of 1.08 million tons, requiring a total investment of 7.3 billion yuan. The project is located in the Gaoqing County Chemical Industry Park, covering an area of over 1,800 mu, with a planned construction area of approximately 875,000 square meters. Upon completion of the project, it is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 1.08 million tons of PA66 products. The project is constructed in three phases; the first phase involves building a production facility with an annual capacity of 160,000 tons, office buildings, a R&D center, a logistics service center, exhibition halls, control rooms, as well as auxiliary facilities and supporting structures ； Phase II construction of a 320,000 tons/year production facility and supporting measures ； Phase 3 involves the construction of a 600,000-ton/year production facility along with supporting facilities. The company states that this project will make full use of its long-term technical expertise in the field of chemical new materials, enabling diversified development in this sector.
