In the new year, Changxing Island will continue to accelerate the construction of projects such as the 450,000 tons per year bio-degradable plastic production facility in the Hengli Petrochemical Industrial Park, and the 2.6 million tons per year polyester production facility in the Hengli Polyester Technology Park, ensuring that all of these facilities come online by the end of the year. Ensure that the relocation, upgrading, and renovation project of CNPC’s large petrochemical complex commences in the second half of the year. Also, expedite the start of construction on projects such as Huayi-Oak’s lithium battery electrolytes and additives, as well as the catalyst for coupling naphtha to produce olefins and aromatics developed by SinoCat. Promote the steady and full-scale operation of major projects such as Hengli’s 12 million tons per year PTA production, release raw materials, and strengthen the aromatics industry chain. At the same time, focusing closely on the development of a trillion-yuan-scale green petrochemical industry cluster, support is provided for the construction of Hengli’s 1.6 million tons per year ethylene plant and its associated downstream fine chemical park. Extend and develop the olefin industry chain. It has promoted the downstream development of CNPC’s large-scale petrochemical projects, including those with a refining capacity of 10 million tons per year and an ethylene production capacity of 1.2 million tons per year. It has also facilitated the signing of over 20 prospective projects involving investments of 80 billion yuan and a production value of nearly 90 billion yuan, thereby strengthening the olefin industry chain. The Xizhongdao Fine Chemical Industry Park is being planned and developed, focusing on the production and processing of chemicals derived from basic chemical materials, in order to attract more high-quality enterprises to settle there.
