The gas pipeline in question is the fuel supply line for the heating furnaces in the factory area. In the previous project design drawings, valve chambers were installed along this pipeline once it entered the factory area; these chambers contained check valves, isolation valves, drain valves, and 8-shaped blind plates, among other components. Sand was also placed at the bottom of these chambers. I’m wondering which standard requires such a setup. The relevant provisions in Chapter 7.2 of the GB50160 fire protection standard only state that valves should be installed on the gas inlet pipelines, but it does not mention the necessity of having valve chambers. I would appreciate everyone’s insights and suggestions
