On July 16, good news came from the ethylene plant of Jilin Petrochemical: the domestically produced BCE-H100 catalyst was successfully used for the first time, enabling the smooth transition to the production of a new high-end membrane material, PE-HD 5025F. While achieving differentiated product development and enhancing market competitiveness, the procurement cost is reduced by 1.8 million yuan per ton compared to imported catalysts. PE-HD 5025F is a high-performance, high-molecular-weight bimodal film material that is widely used in applications such as shopping bags, handbags, and packaging films, offering broad market prospects. For this product transition, moving away from the traditional use of imported catalysts, a more cost-effective domestic BCE-H100 was chosen. To ensure the successful transition, the factory attached great importance to this matter, organized personnel to have in-depth discussions with catalyst manufacturers, verified every aspect from the reaction mechanism to the operational details, and developed a thorough transition plan along with detailed operating procedures, thereby ensuring that the entire transition process proceeded smoothly and under control. . Thanks to the efforts of the on-site staff, the equipment produced the first batch of qualified finished products, and film blowing of the products was successfully carried out; the appearance of the samples met the requirements, marking the successful completion of the transition to mass production. The official stated that this successful shift in production has led to significant cost reductions and improved efficiency, providing valuable experience for the future localization of catalysts ； At the same time, new high-end film materials were added, the product portfolio was optimized, and market competitiveness was enhanced. To date, 540 tons of products have been delivered to customers, and technical staff are monitoring the performance of these products as well as customer feedback, in order to optimize technical specifications further and continuously improve product quality to meet customer requirements.
