On August 1, reporters learned that the technical achievement titled \"Key Technologies and Applications for Natural Gas Condensate Pipeline Transportation\", developed by the Southwest Branch of China Petroleum Engineering Construction Corporation (CPECC), has passed the evaluation by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Automation Application Association; the overall technology level reaches international advanced standards. To date, this technological achievement has been applied in projects such as the Tarim light hydrocarbon recovery LPG transmission pipeline project, resulting in the construction of over 200 kilometers of LPG and ethane transmission pipelines. At the same time, it also provided technical support for other related pipeline transportation design projects undertaken by the company. The key technologies and applications for pipeline transportation of natural gas liquefied stream are crucial for enabling the efficient storage and transportation of large volumes of such gas. After nearly 5 years of research on theoretical simulation processes, numerous tests and inspections, field application trials, as well as efforts to summarize findings and optimize the processes, CPECC Southwest Branch has developed technical achievements in natural gas liquefied gas pipeline transportation, with transportation processes and safety measures as its core elements. This technological achievement overcomes key challenges such as pipeline flow assurance technologies, low-temperature prediction and control for pipelines, and safety assurance for pipeline stations. It establishes a comprehensive set of key technologies for multi-media storage and transportation, and defines key technical parameters for the pipeline transportation of ethane and LPG, including flow assurance, low-temperature prevention, and safety control. This fills existing technical gaps in China and contributes to the high-quality development of projects related to the production, storage, transportation, and utilization of unconventional media both domestically and internationally.
