On August 18, BASF signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai Fourier Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Fourier) aimed at evaluating and developing new material solutions for various robotic applications. As part of the strategic cooperation agreement, BASF and Fourier will jointly explore the application and development of engineering plastics, polyurethanes, and thermoplastic polyurethanes in robots and their components, while establishing collaboration in terms of technology, business, market, and business models.
