Recently, Sinopec’s first fully domestically produced Safety Instrumented System (SIS) passed factory testing and acceptance in Hangzhou, and will be used in the new jet fuel hydrogenation unit at Sino-Korea Petrochemical. This system achieves full autonomy and control throughout the entire chain, from the core chip to the overall system. It fills the gap in the use of domestic high-end security control equipment in important petrochemical facilities, successfully breaking foreign monopolies. To comprehensively verify the system’s reliability, Sino-Korean Petrochemical, the project construction company, and Zhejiang Zhongkong Technology Co., Ltd. conducted multiple rounds of tests across various scenarios, with the Information and Digital Management Department of the group company participating in these efforts. Test results show that the system features high CPU processing efficiency, good temperature rise control, and rapid operational response. Even in an environment with strong electromagnetic interference, it remains stable in operation, with performance metrics that are superior to those of common non-domestic systems. As the \"stabilizing force\" that ensures the safe and stable operation of equipment, the localization of SIS has always been a focus of attention in the industry. This fully domesticated system has established an independent technical framework that integrates chips, control systems, and operation platforms, all of which are domestically produced.
