Yulin Refinery’s import of crude oil reaches a record high

　　According to Sinochem New Network, as of December 29, 2025, the crude oil import volume handled annually by the oil product transportation center at Yulin Refinery reached 2.0145 million tons, surpassing the 2-million-ton mark for the first time and setting a new historical record. 　　By 2025, Yulin Refinery overcame challenges such as fluctuations in the energy market, difficulties in procurement, and restrictions on transportation volume. It actively expanded its sources of imports, increasing the number of oil products to 12 types. The refinery also carried out upgrades to its oil and gas recovery facilities and introduced modular equipment to ensure safe and environmentally sound handling of these materials. Additionally, it undertook projects to upgrade its railway access routes, thereby significantly enhancing its transportation capacity and successfully resolving the problems related to the inability to bring in crude oil, store it, or transport it away.
