1. Before powering on the density meter, water, oil, or a mixed liquid must first be added to the bath. Never operate it with no liquid in the bathtub! The heater must never be used in air without liquid! 2. When using a density meter, safety must be taken into account. The power cable connected to the instrument should have a proper grounding terminal; the phase wire and the ground wire must not be mixed up, and it is necessary to ensure that the instrument’s casing makes good contact with the grounding terminal of the power cable. 3. When replacing the fuse holder or other electrical components, the power supply must be turned off first (the fuse holder is located in a power socket); it is absolutely not permissible to perform such operations while the power is still on. 4. Before using the density meter, ensure that all connectors are in good contact. If the temperature sensor is damaged or not properly connected to the chassis, no digits will be displayed on the PV display window of the temperature controller. 5. The temperature sensor is connected to the plug via three wires; at an ambient temperature of 20°C, the resistance between two of these pins is zero, while the resistance to the third pin is approximately 107.79 ohms. 6. When the density meter leaves the factory, the parameters for automatic temperature control are already set; it enters automatic calibration mode as soon as it is turned on, so users do not need to reset them again. When the temperature control performance deteriorates, it can be recalibrated by referring to the thermostat’s manual. 7. Maintain good heat dissipation and ventilation conditions. 8. If the temperature control is poor, please check the 600W heating element or the thyristor that controls it. If it is confirmed through inspection or replacement that the heating element or thyristor is in good condition, then reset the temperature control unit to its self-tuning mode. 9. If the mixing motor does not rotate, check whether the capacitor is damaged. Note: When filling the bathtub with water, if the room temperature is below 0°C, please drain the water from the bathtub to prevent freezing and damage to the equipment! Warning: If the density meter malfunctions, the power supply should be turned off immediately. It must be repaired by professional technicians to eliminate the fault before it can be used again, in order to prevent accidents!
