Jinzhou Petrochemical’s production and sales of high-purity isopropanol have reached new highs for three consecutive months

Recently, employees from the First Chemical Department of China National Petroleum Corporation’s Jinzhou Petrochemical Company optimized operations on-site to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the facilities. Jinzhou Petrochemical produced and sold over 2,000 tons of high-purity isopropanol in March. Since 2026, production and sales records have been broken for three consecutive months, reflecting a positive trend of strong growth in both areas. As a specialty product, high-purity isopropanol has built a strong brand image in the market by leveraging Jinzhou Petrochemical’s 50 years of expertise in isopropanol production, as well as its capabilities for large-scale manufacturing and consistent product quality. Currently, the market demand for high-purity isopropyl alcohol is growing steadily, with strong demand in areas such as electronic cleaning, medical disinfection, and fine chemicals.

Two additional industry observations for reference: 1) Recently, there has been a clear trend toward import substitution for electronic-grade isopropanol, with leading domestic companies expanding their production capacity; it is advisable to pay attention to the release of such capacity in the second half of the year ； 2) Recent requirements for packaging specifications in the medical field have become stricter; I’m not sure if they have made any upgrades to small-scale medical filling lines. However, it is recommended to make specific investment decisions by taking into account the company’s financial reports and the industry cycle as well~
