Wanhua Chemical’s 800,000 tons/year MDI plant shut down for maintenance

The 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" in 2026: Everyone should talk about safety and know how to handle emergencies; identify and address potential risks and hazards. -------------------------------------------------- On June 23, Wanhua Chemical issued a statement stating that, in line with the requirements of chemical manufacturing processes and to ensure the safe and efficient operation of its production facilities, its 800,000 tons per year MDI production plant along with related facilities in its Fujian industrial park will cease operations for maintenance starting on June 23, 2026. The maintenance is expected to last around 20 days. This shutdown for maintenance is a routine inspection carried out in accordance with the annual plan, and it will not have a significant impact on the company’s production and operations.
