Is the vent valve on the backup oil filter always open?
Just open it when you need to use it~~~ That’s how we do it here~~~
The exhaust valve on the backup oil filter should be closed
The exhaust valve, as the name implies, is used for exhaust; the exhaust valve on the spare filter is usually closed.
The design is on; it’s usually off, but it doesn’t matter if it’s on
Closed under normal conditions; used only when switching to oil flushing mode
It should be turned off before switching and during use; this is probably stipulated in your procedures to prevent excessive negative pressure caused by temperature differences, which could lead to equipment damage. Generally, it’s kept off for extended periods of time!
Just open it when needed: open the connection valve to release all the air inside, then close the connection valve
It can remain open during normal operation.
