The company has two LiBr chiller units made by Ebara; they have been in use for several years now, and their cooling performance has been poor. The specific parameters are shown in the image. I would like to ask fellow enthusiasts for advice on how to carry out inspections to determine the issue Is it really a problem with the concentration of the lithium bromide solution? Vacuum level issue? Is there still not enough hot water? I see that the temperature difference of the hot water does vary significantly from the designed value; the design value is around 20°C, and the current flow rate of hot water is also lower than the designated value.
Is the warm water control valve manually adjustable? I see that the fluctuations in the temperature of your warm water are quite significant! Have you considered putting this warm water control valve into use? It is recommended to first close the upstream valve, gradually bring the lithium bromide unit online, and then see how it performs!

Firstly, there is likely a problem with the temperature sensor for the warm water inlet and outlet; when the warm water temperature exceeds 100°C, significant steam hammering should occur. The heat exchange is so high, but no heat is transferred to the cooling water; therefore, there is a problem with the sensor. The temperature of the warm water entering the system might already be quite low, resulting in poor regeneration efficiency. Additionally, if the pressure inside the vacuum chamber shows to be normal, then the internal pressure of your device is too high. At a pressure of 2.6 KPa, the boiling point of water is above 20°C; therefore, you need to ensure that the vacuum level is adequate, as poor vacuum conditions will prevent proper evaporation. Also, with the Ebara unit, it is possible to check the solution concentration to see if it is below 50%.
