What is the purpose of setting a target for steam purging? What material is generally used for targets? Thank you.
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘target’ – is it the location where shooting takes place? Steam cleaning involves installing a clean and shiny target at the exhaust outlet or in front of it; steam is then used to blow against this target, forcing particles such as weld slag to stick to it due to the pressure of the steam. Within a specified time frame, the target is inspected for pits and impurities, and it is checked whether it meets the standards for successful steam cleaning. Different grades of steam have varying requirements – generally, the number of pits per square centimeter, as well as their size and depth, must be within acceptable limits – thereby confirming that the steam pipeline has been properly cleaned and can meet the requirements of steam turbines or other users.
Our target sheet is made of aluminum alloy; it is polished clean with sandpaper and fixed in place for shooting.
Blasting targets are used to verify the effectiveness of purging; target plates are required at the turbine inlet, medium-pressure steam pipelines, etc. They are used to assess the results of the purging process after purging or after explosive purging~~~
It is mainly used to determine the degree of cleaning during system purging; aluminum sheets or plates are commonly used for this purpose. However, regardless of the material used, it must be clean and shiny in order to accurately reflect the effectiveness of the purging process
Target shooting is used to check whether the steam pipes have been properly purged, and aluminum plates are employed for this purpose

We usually use thick white non-woven fabric to make the bags, mainly to prevent the flying iron shavings from hitting people or equipment
