What is the function of a lubricating oil cooler? The temperature of a certain diesel pump in my system is around 200°C. During inspections, it was found that there is a leak in the circulating water used for cooling the oil. What adverse effects will this have on the pump if the circulation of water is interrupted for an extended period of time?
