Our factory has four Ingersoll Rand centrifugal air compressors that have been in use for over ten years, with model numbers 3CIIC80Mx3, C95050Mx3, and 2A55Mx3 respectively. Due to the lack of original data, I am seeking help: does any colleague have the cold-state radial and axial installation clearance values for the impellers of these three models?

The clearances for C95050Mx3 are now known: the radial clearance between the impeller and the diffuser is 0.025 for the first stage; Level 2: 0.020 ; Level 3: 0.018 ; Axial clearance of impeller and diffuser: 0.31 for stage 1 ; Level 2: 0.24 ; Level 3: 0.20 ; Clearance between the back of the impeller and the gearbox housing: 0.125 for stage 1 ; Level 2: 0.123 ; Level 3: 0.123 ; The impeller size is currently unknown; it will be measured when the opportunity arises. In fact, if there are random raw data, the aforementioned gaps exist in several assembly diagrams. It’s a pity it wasn’t handed over and remained with the current manager.
I believe this gap value is a design value; aside from the data provided by the manufacturer, what others offer can at most serve as a reference. Others may simply give you a parameter from their own perspective – even with the same flow rate and pressure, different manufacturers will design things differently. Unless a colleague has similar Ingersoll Rand unit parameters that they can provide for your reference. It is advised that you listen to others' advice carefully.
Since Ingersoll Rand failed to secure a maintenance contract, it now refuses to provide the design values. Therefore, I am seeking help from colleagues with the same model.
Colleagues who have Ingersoll Rand C80 and C55 centrifuges, could you please help? The clearance values for C50 given earlier are those from the original assembly drawings; based on my analysis, the unit is inches, and these values can be converted to μm by multiplying by 25.4.
That’s exactly how Ingersoll Rand behaves – it’s fucking disgusting; they don’t even provide technical specifications. They won’t even bother to respond to you unless you ask them for maintenance services. I have just experienced such a thing.
