I went to the workshop today, and it was found that two adjustment screws for the mechanical seal of one mixing tank were missing, as well as one set screw; however, there was no leakage from the tank. What is the function of this adjustment screw? It’s not for adjusting the compression volume, right? Isn’t the compression amount of a standard mechanical seal already adjusted upon leaving the factory? So what is the purpose of this adjustment screw?
