Issues regarding the slide valve of York screw compressors

The new unit is equipped with a York screw propane compressor. The technical specifications state that both variable specific volume ratio control and energy regulation are carried out using hydraulic piston actuators; I’m not sure how this works – are these two actuators part of the same system or separate systems? Is it the same spool valve or two spool valves? Does adjusting the energy also change the specific volume ratio at the same time? Do the two operate together? Dear experts, could you please explain what’s going on exactly? I would be extremely grateful! ! ! !

Hello, for screw compressors equipped with synchronization gears, when adjusting the gap between the male and female screws, I’m not sure about which points should be measured using a feeler gauge at the points where the screws meet. Could you help me? Please tell me which points need to be measured; it would be great if there were an actual image showing how to do this. Thank you
