Hello, dear sea friends! Could you help figure out what’s causing this issue with this unit? From the pictures, it’s clear that there’s a problem with the bearings; a lot of debris has gotten inside them. Could that be the reason for the motor burning out? Last time it was 75KW, this time it’s 55KW – wow. :(

What can be done is to enhance motor protection, as well as the sealing of end covers and shaft seals – all of which need to be taken into consideration during installation.
