Analysis of high temperatures in moving equipment: The phenomenon of high temperatures during the operation of moving equipment directly affects its stable and long-term performance. High-temperature monitoring of rotating equipment: The monitoring devices for temperature, pressure, vibration, etc., installed on rotating equipment at the site, allow for an intuitive assessment of the equipment’s operational parameters and condition. Infrared thermometers, which serve as a tool to assist in routine inspections, can also provide direct measurements. By combining the data from these instruments with the temperature rise trends recorded over time, it is possible to determine changes in high-temperature indicators as well as any abnormal operating conditions, thereby deciding whether it is necessary to shut down the equipment. 2. Types of causes for high temperatures in rotating equipment: ① Process and operational factors – Transporting high-temperature media or a sudden increase in operating load can easily lead to high temperatures ; Frequent starting of mechanical equipment also generates a large amount of heat, leading to temperature rise ; ②Environmental and maintenance factors: An excessively high operating temperature leads to the accumulation of heat, resulting in an increase in temperature ; Dust and oil accumulation on moving equipment, as well as poor heat dissipation from the casing, lead to an increase in temperature ; ③Quality factors affecting maintenance: damage during the assembly of the bearing itself, poor handling, which leads to jamming and heat generation ; The bearing assembly fit is too loose, resulting in excessive bearing clearance and increased frictional heat generation ; Other rotating parts are assembled too tightly or too loosely, resulting in either too small a gap or excessive friction that generates heat ; ④Lubrication issues: failure to add the required amount of oil or grease, as well as over-addition; operation with insufficient oil or too much oil ; Lubricant is only added without being cleaned or replaced, and excessive blockage of the oil passages leads to an increase in temperature ; ⑤Electrical factors: Excessively high voltage and overload operation cause the motor to overheat ; Too low a voltage reduces efficiency and generates more heat. Winding short circuits, ground faults, or inter-turn short circuits cause an increase in current, generating a large amount of heat ; The motor fan is damaged and the cooling channels are blocked, resulting in a poorer cooling effect ; ⑥Fault factor: Bearing failures cause frictional heating and the generation of heat ; Imbalance in rotating equipment causes vibration, which puts additional stress on the bearings and leads to frictional heating. 3.
