What does the body section refer to in a reciprocating compressor?

Is the part in the pink frame the middle body? Are the six holes in the pink frame for heat dissipation?
It should be the crosshead area; above that is the middle section

In a broad sense, the intermediate body should include parts such as the connecting rods, small-end bearings, crossheads, piston lock nuts, and other components that are part of the compressor’s housing； In a narrow sense, the intermediate body refers to the connecting component located below the cylinder and the crosshead slideways~~~~~~~~ The six bolts are those used to secure the inspection window.
