The design institute has specified the explosion protection classification for the areas within the factory building as dIICT4 (135°C), but the explosion protection classification for the motors is specified as dIICT3 (200°C). Is such a regulation reasonable? What is the relationship between the explosion protection rating of a device and that of the area?

Motor manufacturers generally use BT4/CT4; you can also use CT3 if you wish, and you just need to ask the manufacturer to design a new motor for you. However, the price will include costs for design work, mold making, and so on. Just joking, I don’t really understand. Passing by the top; P
The T+ number that follows indicates the temperature category of that explosion-proof area; for more details, refer to GB 3836. It reflects the sensitivity to temperature – the lower the temperature, the stricter the explosion-proof requirements. If the area is classified as T4, then it is incorrect to use a motor rated for T3.
Components of T4 can be used in environments that require T3, but devices of T3 cannot be used in environments that require T4. So it seems there is an issue with the choice of motor; components of type T4, T5, or T6 should be used instead
